The 40º Endoscopy Congress of the Spanish Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (SEED) took place in Zaragoza from the 14th to the 17th of November.
The congress broke records in assistance, participation and presented works, assembling more than 1000 endoscopists that shared opinion and experiences. This congress consolidate as reference in the digestive area, being the most important in digestive endoscopy.
During this congress, Dr. Juan Antonio Casellas Valdé had the honour to receive the gold medal, as award of the SEED for his medical path in this area. Dr. Juan Antonio Casellas is specialised doctor in Therapeutic Digestive Endoscopy and Full Obesity Treatment in the hospitals IMED Elche, IMED Levante and IMED Valencia, and of his own aesthetic medicine and surgery clinic, ilahy.
The reason of this award is because of years of contribution and dedication of Dr. Casellas to endoscopic techniques where he turned to be a reference name at national level.
