The specialised Early Care Unit at IMED Hospitales is for children with developmental disorders, those at risk of developing them, or those with difficulties in areas such as language, motor skills, socialisation, cognition, and adaptation. The main goal of this unit is to provide the tools the children need to enhance their development and well-being.

Through a comprehensive and personalised approach, we aim to reduce the effects of developmental deficits, optimise the child’s progress, remove barriers, and prevent potential associated complications. Additionally, we address family needs, considering the children active participants in their intervention process.

The unit treats conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, simple language delay, attention deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity, generalised developmental disorders, learning difficulties, behavioural problems, and syndromes like Down or Asperger’s.
